The plot is cleared and graded next to the existing building. Surveyors stake out the structural grid exactly as drawn: axes A to L along the length, 1 to 3 across.

02 / 07 · Excavation & foundation
The pit is dug and reinforced pad footings rise under every column line. Then the ground-floor slab is poured bay by bay, from the west gable to the east.

03 / 07 · Tower crane
A tower crane is assembled in the courtyard on its own foundation. Its jib reaches every corner of the footprint, and it will slew back and forth for the whole build.

04 / 07 · Structural frame
The lift and stair cores lead the way. Columns rise on the 3.12 m room grid and the slabs follow in sequence, from the tall parking level up to the roof.

05 / 07 · Façade
Sheathing goes on first, then the dark timber cladding and windows fill in from bottom to top. There is one 1.4 m window per room, in the rhythm the plans set. The parking level gets a slatted timber screen.

06 / 07 · Roof & mechanical
A sedum roof, solar panels and the rooftop plant are lifted into place and the sign goes up. Ventilation is served from the plant room on level 2. Then the crane is taken down.

07 / 07 · Completion
Landscaping, parking and lighting finish the site. As dusk falls over Boden, the rooms light up one floor at a time.
